Our StoryShareWaves started with a simple belief: sports change lives.
We’ve seen firsthand how participation builds confidence, resilience, belonging, and joy. But too many kids are left on the sidelines because of cost, limited access, or outdated systems rooted in competition over equity. Our work began with a microphone and a mission — powered by Sports Radio 810WHB and inspired by the Kansas City community’s passion for helping kids thrive. Today, ShareWaves delivers solutions through grants, clinics, advocacy, and storytelling — ensuring every child gets their chance to play, grow, and belong. |
