Cost is the number one barrier that prevents kids from participating in high-quality sports experiences. Our GameChanging Grants are designed to eliminate this obstacle and allow youth in Kansas City to fully experience the life-changing power of sports.

Through this program, ShareWaves distributes micro-grants directly to kids through their qualified community mentor, specifically for paying league fees, buying sports equipment, correct footwear, sports apparel, or covering the cost of special sports outings.

PARTNERING WITH BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS

Big Brothers Big Sisters has spent decades matching youth in Kansas City with mentors who will walk alongside them as they navigate their young lives.

Through generous community support, ShareWaves' GameChanging Grants allow Bigs to enroll their Littles in sports and other physical activities, and provide them the equipment needed to compete alongside their peers, teaching them lifelong skills and furthering their mentor-mentee bonds.
