Creating a #ready2playKC Video
Area youth sports advocates, coaches, current and former players, and some local KC celebrities help Kansas City kids stay active during this stay at home by creating short videos on different ways kids can stay engaged and active during this unprecedented time.
Instructions for content providers:
Here is a general outline for coaches and trainers to create content for the program:
1. Videos should be fun, light-hearted to inspire and motivate kids to stay active every day.
2. Keep the clips to 60 to 90-second in length.
3. Create a script and outline (we can help here if you need it!)
Give your name
Tell us about your sports background.
Let us know what team, school, or club you represent.
Answer 3 questions:
How are you helping athletes stay ready to compete?
Which physical and mental exercises do you suggest for keeping the mind, body, and spirit engaged?
What advice would you give younger athletes during this time?
Demonstrate a development challenge or exercise for kids to stay active while they are home-schooling.
4. Final Step: Upload Content to Our Google Drive
