Access to Hockey. Opportunity for Kids.
We are proud to partner with CPKC and the KC Mavericks working together to remove cost barriers and open the door to hockey for kids who would otherwise be left out.
A Purpose-Built Partnership
Through CPKC Goals for Kids with the KC Mavericks, SHAREWAVES will EXPAND ACCESS TO YOUTH HOCKEY IN KANSAS CITY.
For every goal scored by the Mavericks at home during the regular season, CPKC contributes $250 to ShareWaves. These funds are restricted exclusively to supporting youth hockey participation for under-resourced children in the Kansas City region.
This partnership is intentionally designed to prioritize access, equity, and accountability—ensuring that every dollar raised directly removes a barrier that would otherwise keep a child on the sidelines.
Removing Cost Barriers to Play
Through the KC Mavericks and CPKC’s Goals for Kids ShareWaves provides an access-focused funding pathway designed to remove the financial barriers that prevent kids from participating in organized sports. In hockey, those barriers are often immediate and significant.
Through this initiative, ShareWaves provides targeted, practical support so kids who want to play—and are ready to play—can get on the ice.
